Sources from extraction to use scrapbooking and do not know what to do after that?

I downloaded free fonts, I use Windows XP, and extracted them and they are in a folder, but do not know how to use each letter to scrapbooking use. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you very much

Enough to copy the font in the folder C: \ Windows \ Font folder and will be available for use as a source selectable from any Windows application. Make sure fontname.ttf copy (where "FontName" is the name of the font that you downloaded and extracted) file and nothing else.
