In case of classic books that use racist language can change a date or come with a warning?
Ive started reading stories by Edgar Allan Mystery and Imagination Poe and The Goldbug are not frequent mention of the N-word, along with a character very ignorant slaves that these books will not stay alone and enjoyed as is intended or should change your for the modern reader? is a warning really necessary? you have a problem with children reading this material?
I have read several books over the years that used old-fashioned language. Some are pieces like 'The Shining'. I must confess I have not read a book that has lasted the use of potentially offensive racial slurs … I can imagine would be the grid after a while though. I personally do not think it should come with a warning, because as elsewhere, there will be more and more books with the warnings – the sexism, violence, etc. I think anyone who is informed enough to read books like you too is smart enough to realize these insults are retrospective and often stated in a negative light. I guess you have a problem with the children read this material – But again, if a child is smart enough to get through 'Tales of Mystery and Imagination ", he / she can appreciate the context it is written.
