For many, the idea of backpacking through Europe is the perfect vacation. For the more adventurous, backpacking through Russia sounds a little more convincing.
Russia is a huge country. I should know. I lived there for a year. Indeed, the country is so great that describing a "Russians" is a bit of a misnomer. The people in the eastern city of Vladivostok are like people in the far western city of St. Petersburg. It would be akin to the introduction of a person from San Francisco to a person from Boston. Heck, he can not understand one another!
Anyway, a trip to Russia is an experience you never forget. If you going to be backpacking, there are some things you need to know what to take. First, large cities in the west as Moscow or St. Petersburg has everything you'd find in his hometown. The rest of the country not so sure you have the basics. Leta cover a few.
